Personal Internet Banking

If my boss uses internet tracking software and I change my password, can he still get into my e-mail account?

June 30th, 2010

My boss installed internet tracking software on our office computers, including keystroke recording. After learning this, I changed all my personal e-mail account/facebook/banking passwords from home. Is there anyway he could still access those accounts if I do not log into them from work anymore?

If you changed all the passwords at home and not at work then you should be fine. The only way he could get any of that info is if you logged in at work. Don’t worry :)

I understand internet tracking software for company computers but keystroke programs as well? Wow. I suppose it depends on what kind of work you do. I

nope and I would have a quick talk to any employees that were on facebook on company time. I would tolerate banking and paying bills online if done before or after work or during lunch. If clients are in the area then no personal surfing. Even if you had nothing to do, just look busy if clients are in the area. Most managers that knew an employee was on something like facebook would most likely give more work for that employee to do. This is why places like facebook are blocked in schools so children can spend about 8 hours a day away from facebook.
