Is this a virus or my computer?

I keep getting a pop-up warning that’s been annoying me for a week. How do I stop it? It reads:

How do I get rid of it?

You’re already infected with something.. which is the thing you are seeing the pop up message from.. and you should NOT click on it or you will become even more infected.

Invest in a proper security suite (antivirus, firewall, antispyware, etc) from a RELIABLE vendor (like McAfee or Norton, etc) and ensure it is properly configured and completely up to date then reboot and run a complete scan to remove the malware.. and then keep your computer security up to date.

    Good Luck

Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info
