Need to file a dispute from an article brought from the Internet (and never received)?

July 23rd, 2010

The payment was made with my credit card through Pay pal.

My question is this. Is it better to file a Pay Pal dispute? Or to file a chargeback directly with my bank?

    Hello…

File the paypal dispute first as they have only 5 days to respond
then the have to come up with your articles or refund you back.

    good luck

pay-pal has a fairly easy dispute process. Filing a charge back without going through the pay-pal dispute process may cause a problem with pay-pal because they are the ones who actually paid the funds.

I would file a dispute with PayPal.

If it is from ebay file a dispute with the person through ebay, paypal, and email, and with ebay and paypal. If it was shipped/mailed then you may have to wait until it is done going through, but if it was suposed to be shipped gauranteed within a set amount of days, then you receive the item later, charge for how much the shipping was.

With any online site they have to send an order, even if it is cheap, but otherwise if the merchandise was sold out or an error had been made then you should have the option of pursuing for either the item or return, but I’m not sure what the policies are. Also if there is a site where you can probably report them.

But first send several reminders and perhaps, because at times there are unexpected problems, then just choose to get the money back and look somewhere else for it, but if it turns up, then you would have to return it too.

But you still have to wait because sometimes it takes a while to go through the mail and to your doorstep, if it has a record of it being sent by payapl, then it is on it’s way, but if it wasn’t sent then they usually give an explanation and refund, but if it was sent and delivered, then maybe it was taken by someone else including anyone who has a history of stealing in your house and neighborhood.

Those are if they don’t respond or are received, but paypal may not include weekends or holidays, because they are at times not official business days for sites.

It depends when you sent for the order, but if it has been a long while, then regard to paypal with the order number, and they may tell you if the order number was sent out yet or if it was succesfully delivered.

File the Paypal dispute and send a letter to your credit card company disputing the charge. Chances are that if Paypal denies your dispute, so will your credit card. But it’s worth a try to file the dispute with both.
