I am an engineer with 3.5 years of work experience at Quark. I am presently pursuing my MBA at IIFT and majoring in Finance. I wish to make a career in Investment Banking. Companies that visit campus often are of the opinion that I am a misfit for iBanking. Even the CFA exam this year is not certain to happen. How should I go about preparing for campus placements which is round the corner in december?
Your MBA major in finance is the right way to go. Prepare by reviewing the Vault guides to investment banking and finance interviews. Those should be available in your school library.
