Personal Internet Banking

Spiritually speaking, can anyone recommend a good banking insitution?

September 2nd, 2011

I have been banking with SunTrust for years, but have recently found myself incredibly dissatisfied with their customer service, or lack thereof rather. I would like to switch my checking account to a different banking insitution but am not sure what the best options are. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations as well as why you are satisfied with the services of the bank you are recommending.

Thanks everyone! :-)

Opening a bank account when listed with Check Services?

    August 30th, 2011

Because I am declaring Bankruptcy and have an auto account with Wells Fargo that will be part of that bankruptcy they have listed me with Check Services which seems to mean that no bank will let me open an account….. I have checked local credit unions and they have also said "no go". Does anyone have any advice or any pointers on any financial institution that will let me have an account? Help!

Online banking and financial services for international clients?

      August 27th, 2011

I am moving out of US soon. I have a few 401k plans maintained by different institutions (since every new employer starts a new 401k and I had a few employers), a few investment accounts (e-trade, scottrade, etc), a checking/savings account from Bank of America, etc.

Since I am moving out of US, I want to consolidate all these to a single provider so I can deal with just one bank as opposed to multiple banks. Bank of America appeared to be a good choice since they can handle 401ks, investments, checking/savings, but it appears that they do not support online international wire transfers, which is a deal breaker for me. I’d like to be able to move money in and out of the account online.

Anybody have suggestions as to what bank I should use? I’d prefer a bank with a retail presence in Massachusetts but that wouldn’t be a deal breaker.

      Thanks

Is my dad allowed to view my online banking account ?

        August 23rd, 2011

I’m 16 and I have my own card and online banking services. He made me show him all my transactions and spendings Because I
have a "habit" of lying to him apparently . He then made me give him the password and card number to access the acct. Is he allowed to do this?
